     This chapter is made up of friendly folks who just like to fish. Trout mostly, but we've caught a lot of smallmouth bass, blue gills and stripers. Some of us like to tie flies, some like to fish with bamboo, some build rods, but behind it all is a strong desire for time on the water.
      No matter what your level of casting skill or fishing experience, at gwtu.org you'll find a great group of like minded individuals interested in sharing experiences, enjoying our fishing friendships and making new ones.
      Based in Alexandria, Virginia, we'll usually fish water no more than a two hour drive away, which includes the Gunpowder in Maryland, the Yellow Breeches in south-central Pennslyvania,  the Rapidan in Virginia and Accotink Creek right in Fairfax County.
